Q & A Panel - What did I get myself into?

An open panel discussion will be held, where attendees and new Accreditation Managers are encouraged to submit written questions for the panel to address.  The panel will feature Presidents of Police Accreditation Commissions from New England, Chiefs of Police, and seasoned Accreditation Managers. Moderated by Bristol Police Chief Kevin Lynch. Questions can be submitted in advance or asked during the open forum.

What is event deconfliction?

The process of coordinating and managing law enforcement or investigative operations to avoid overlap, interference, or unintended consequences when multiple agencies or personnel are involved in related or concurrent events. The goal is to ensure that different units or agencies working on similar targets, within the same geographical area, or on overlapping investigations do not inadvertently disrupt each other’s operations, particularly in high-stakes scenarios like raids, surveillance, or undercover operations.
